Whispers in Eternity

quietly with words we play
in poetry and rhyme
whispering the words we say
to another mind

to an unseen entity
who is passing by,
whispers in eternity
are the reason why

extraordinary feelings flow
back and forth between
listeners who we come to know
in a silent stream

as telepathic fingers touch
in the never seen
mind to mind in mind with such
a mesmerizing dream

with rhythmic incantations
intoned within sublime
unspoken recitations
deep inside the mind
