Mother hear us
Mother hear us in this time
We are praying for our crime
Of destruction to be forgiven
So we can rise anew and shine
Mother we have brought you harm
Ignored the scream and the alarm
Now we face the burning heat
Brought on by our own deceit
Mother we need strength to turn
Away from the madness for which we yearn
Please let us not get what we deserve
This we pray to mother earth
