Queen of the Ashes

In the game's shadowed play, unwitting, a pawn was I,
Yet from its depths, a lesson profound did rise.
Commanding demons old to kneel beneath my gaze,
Through labyrinth's twist, a game of disguise.
Not a pawn, but a queen, from the ashes I claim,
Unseen was the fire within, a dance in the blaze.
Crafted from stardust, a witch of untamed fame,
You sought to use, unaware of my inner maze.
The cost, still veiled, awaits its due time,
For you sought destruction, a pawn to demean.
Yet from the wreckage, a queen did climb,
Forged in trials, a sovereign unseen.
For in your quest to quell my spark,
You kindled flames that light the dark.
Here I stand, amidst the flames, unburned,
In the fire, I danced, my freedom earned.
A testament to strength, from the journey transformed.
A queen from a pawn, the tables now turned,
The price you sought has yet to toll,
For I have risen, soul whole.
In the fire, I found my true role
Not a pawn, but queen, in control.
