Only 6
You are just a little man,
With the world at your feet,
Only 6, but too damn clever,
You never miss a beat.
You are such a little charmer,
With me at your beck and call.
Only 6, but I'd move the world,
Because, little man, you deserve it all.
I know you don't see me much,
But that will all pass.
We'll be back on the Xbox in no time,
Only 6, but you kick my ass.
I'll pretend you're better than me,
At silly video games.
We'll go and play real football,
Only 6, no ideas or concept of blame.
A little man, nothing to do with me,
No blood ties us together.
But for that little man, only 6 years old,
I'd try to change the weather.
Innocent eyes, cute little grin.
He says the funniest things.
Only 6, only little, only 72 months old.
I'd move oceans for that little man, that little man called...

Thank you, your comments are always lovely and well received. Funny how someone that isn't even related can tug on heart strings, he's my friends little one, but I'd move mountains with a teaspoon for him. X

children are precious. so enjoy all the time you can with this 6 yr old. one of my children is 6 yrs old and the time and things we do together is priceless. yet they grow up so fast. Too fast. Enjoyed this.
