at me,
catching me
momentarily
off guard,
which
strikes me
as odd,
eyes
rolled upward,
minutes later
the drama
lovingly dressed,
covered
by petitions,
each photo
lifted, stroked,
i turned
to kiss
this strange
woman,
her smile
had drifted
away
from me,
covering
herself with
the crowd.
