Gobbling blaze
seethes and blackens,
and you think only of…
Who?
Who can be your heart’s home?
Time to bide this hour’s flames,
until you think of someone.
Someone to share
life’s fires with.
Until then, you’ll
just need to roast.
Roast in this fire,
that rages within.
But soon, soon, soon,
you will find that one,
that can quench all fires.
