detached  
adrift  afloat again  
neither awake  nor sleeping  
waiting through this  
long night empty  
for deeper  restful sleep  
to come  
yet beyond  behind  
this late night s buzzing silence  
still echoing through my head  
some distant siren  
faintly stirs  
somewhere out there in the darkness
near night s whispering  
ghostly brink  
deep within  beyond  
my present hypnogogic state s  
stuck in neutral  
empty nothing  
when suddenly  
some remote  inner beacon s  
pin point spark of light  
inwardly allures  
and calls to me  
like the faintest whisper of nature  
urging the birth of dream seeds  
to spontaneously awaken within me  
to sprout forth their inner horizons  
to lucidly burst out in full bloom  
upon this long night s silent  
empty plane  
where somatic tides  
will soon now pull me gently  
more deeply towards  
that elusive port of subliminal entry  
off into the great  subconscious unknown
beyond
where i may sail on to discover  
endless islands of newly illumined visions  
to help further inwardly guide me  
when sleep eventually comes on  
but presently here  
i m still only windlessly drifting  
detached  
adrift again  
with next to nothing  
filling my life worn  
threadbare  
long wearied sails  
neither awake  nor asleep  
awaiting here in and through  
this tiresome  long night empty  
somewhere deep within  beyond  
it s boundless  inner realms  
non physical  hypnogogic  
mostly symbolic  vaporous truth s  
subconsciously revealed  
in seemingly random  fleeting  
still possibly illusory  
yet possibly not as well  
subconscious views  
released up from  
the great unseen  unknown  
innermost landscape  
dreamtime realms  
vague  vast  vacuous voids  
false emptiness s  
holographic dream terrain s  
hopefully soon to come now  
mostly cryptic dreams  
to bring me long awaited relief  
through their spontaneously abundant  
subconscious unfolding flow  
of their deeply revealed  
ever mysterious  
sweet dreamtime songs  
hopefully still now  
soon to come  
to finally release  relieve  
and free me  
from this my present  
being s state  
of being only  
too long
