Endless Rain

Life goes on,
I continue to breathe,
Now if only,
I could sleep.

It only grows harder,
With each passing day,
Hanging on to words,
I didn't say.

My heart still beats,
Like a lonely bass drum,
Im looking for the answers,
In this bottle of rum.

I still walk,
This world alone,
I don't belong,
No where to call my own.

It's been a while,
Since your lips touched mine,
Despite what I say,
I'm not just fine.

All I do,
Is sit and cry,
And watch the world,
Pass me by.

Oh the sorrow,
And all this pain,
The tears fall,
An endless rain.
