Reflecting on my memories
Slowly time passes me by
Heartache never seems to ease
The reasons for my painful cry
I lie here awake and think
Is this how life will always be
Desolate stares I cannot blink
Consumed by this misery
I do not want another year
A year of the unknown
Haunting me my greatest fear
Another year where I'm alone
