Image for the poem Desired

I scry with my mind on the void
all ye restless spirits come to me
in the between places take heart
I am standing in the immortal rift

Journeyman, please ferry the souls to their desired spaces
corrupted visions, they are off course
lewdly making spectacles of themself
sacred honor, over the River Styx, take them home to hell

seedlings of horror you are bound to me
mischievous chaos wander no more
do as I bid thee

with a nod to the most high, I hone my skills
twilighted grief spell music and spin
on the airs dance to the delight of the man himself
who desires I learn my sacred arts

a beautiful witch of the old ways
releasing the hell hounds
so they may snarl and bark
insidious need, their wild is freed

hunting the night and any weakling straggling
a bloodletting when the moon is ripe with pregnancy
sculpt me into the darling desired
