Reflecting on a Photograph.

There is, perhaps, some artless art      
here, not quite a studio pose  
but complete calmness on the part    
of the subject soon, know one will know.    
     
There are three generations here    
but two without a living voice,    
to express that which they hold dear    
except through my simple device.    
     
The third of course is the viewer    
reflecting on this photograph,    
seeing my grandfather anew    
then daddy reflected in the glass...
