Richard III

I need a new arch-villain to rouse me
from my foppish slugabed addiction,
to castigate my fist,  grown right weary
through my poor lacklustre, ruminations.

Though who, matters not, batty or bloodstained.
I've a Prince in mind, Richard of Gloucester,
malicious and twisted, hunchbacked, at pains
to elbow his way, brutally, to power...

With two wee bairns entowered, to wrench hearts,
the inconvenient fact of a wife,
to shed, to warm his feet at the kings hearth,
with a bloody final divorce, by knife...

Some would say I've writ these Tudors to death
I might seek north to... MacDuff? Or...Macbeth?
