Lost

Me, too.
Certain fates seem worse than death.
You said it plain and true.

Your fear is very valid
My mom has severe dementia, the destruction of her mind is horrific.
I cherish my mind, to lose it is a fate worse than death.
Poem spoke right into me.

It is what makes me, me. But, these words for me are a reminder to not stop thinking, to not stop contemplating, for that is me and not get lost in the circle of mundane chores of existing.

Give me anything but the mundane! 😊

That's the price you pay.

Hmmm will have to suffer for what you have done...Be it good or bad..

That feeling of losing everything you have ever thought and felt and been is equivalent to the fear of the thought that after all nothing matters.
