You couldn't handle fierce
I saw you once
but you didn't
recognise me
(just as well)
sure you can
paint your hair
a fierce kind
of red,
wear aesthetics
that can scream
'bad boy feels'
get piercings
until you run out
of spaces to
punch holes into,
collect a few
more tattoos
on your arms
but it wasn't
your flesh sinking
it's fangs into every
layer of mine it
could devour
it wasn't your hands
clawing into my chest
trying to snatch my
heart out as eyes
roll into the back
of my skull,
it wasn't your eyes
gazing across tables
or your lips biting down
knowing exactly what
i'm thinking about
and it wasn't
your voice making
each hair on my
arms raise up,
I mean you
couldn't even
make me
scream
fuck.
