In The Shroud Of Chaos

I’m at a loss for words
When wings are given to such beautiful young birds
In remembrance of hearing their laughter, footsteps echoed in the wind
Kindred hearts, unfulfilled dreams, aspirations, with no time to defend
The mind of Satan so freely roams
Invading subways, supermarkets, schools, and even citizens’ homes
Parents, loved ones must share in the crying of tragedy’s feast
Absence of a presence to share only hushed memories in the humbling greet

Is this God’s plan the slaughter of the unsuspecting the deeds of their innocence
No lamb's blood to cast over the door post to protect undeveloped lives as ancient customary of whence
Plagues of dark hearts, plagues of fallen bodies riddles the land
Bullets flying from the madness of a frenzied man
NRA shouting, it’s not our fault, society do you not understand
Guns don’t kill people if not placed in the wrong hands
It's the second amendment, what don’t you understand or refuse to comprehend

Too much blood has seeped the soil
From plantations lynching, where ropes were tightly coiled
Mental illness of the mind, no excuses accepted in these matters
Plans of assignations and demise of others, as you stepped up to be the sole batter
No worries who your evil may come to effect
Unknown names, rich histories, their emotions you have never felt

How much Lord must your wandering sheep continue to take
Free will and a contest with Luckier to test localities, while deals with self-one maliciously makes
Atheists gnawing at the Meek’s back, echoing, there is no God to claim
The intellect must accept life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which brings pain, or hellish rains
When heavy hearts hang with no comfort in the whys, the perpetrator did not even know their names
I have outlived my child whom I birthed, a casket of memories is all that will remain

Give us a sign of peace down here
I hear so many crying in the dark, silently shedding of tears
Does the plight to love life determines our fate once we reach the sky
To repent on knees after brutality, does that give freedom to cause chaos, where tears on earth still fall from the living eyes
Where are you Creator of this beautiful universe
To have masculinity spit upon the faith of your words, white robes holding bible in hands, shooting humans, riddled flesh with gunshot gapping wounds, it is a cosmic diabolical curse
Bodies now being driven in a hearse

Do You, not see the mistrust, if thy right hand offend thee then cut it off
Then as a witness from above, the atrocities cast upon your children, if no relief then we all remain lost
Don’t allow the Morning Star to intervene with spears of mischief taking the vessels of borrowed souls in such horrific scenes
This world as we know it, as we inhabit it, is always cruel and so mean
To the families still grieving, left behind
Know this, their hearts is the thread interwoven as life ordained on the Creator’s time
He makes no mistakes, if you can keep your faith, by fate designs

I am bowing in silence for such a travesty that occurred at Prague University today. and my humbly condolences go out to the country and the families who this shooting may have affected, and it is much more painful primarily during this time of the year.
