In context with the photo, the metaphor was brilliant, especially the 'creeping in your blind spot.'
I loved the dark tones in this, the way it dragged its wet crack through the muck a little. It was sexy, ballsy, with a hint of promise and a lot of interesting little riffs in the flow.
Your choice of ellipses is interesting. I like using punctuation to enforce the tone, or to deliberately pace it. The three dot ... is the traditional use, and you had places that seemed intentional with the reframe of the punctuation. That was interesting, too.
