Falling stars
Dark, subtle and unfeeling is she
but yet holding all our wishes and hopes
in an unending blanket of stars.
You're light has started so long ago,
when exactly? We will never know
but I find myself using your light as a guide
helping me find my way back inside.
Inside. Where the warmth and laughter flow
and I finally see the return of a happy glow,
yes there seems to be stardust in my eye
but at long last, I found something I can't deny
and that is me and you are just
shooting stars falling together
in the midnight silk of our mother's love
only to find heaven was never below or above
but rather, inside each other's heart.
but yet holding all our wishes and hopes
in an unending blanket of stars.
You're light has started so long ago,
