We think, therefore we are
-
"I'm a free man, not a number"
words echoing in the dark
once reality and anthem
now just a dusty and worn out dream
beg
get down on your knees and beg
lick the boots from your gilded cage
how dare you...
talk about biology
or race
or IQ
pretending we are free
when we cease to be useful, we will cease to be
and we will never see it coming
... because it's already here
we have been shorn and herded, taught what to believe
we are killed off at will by war and disease
dined on by the elite
how we argue with one another
passionately believing....
that we matter at all
surveilled, curtailed, jailed, and blackmailed
the culture of our pedigree
death is the cure for our disease
and we'll never see it coming
as we're led to the slaughterhouse we're too intelligent to see
