DADDY

So long ago they took you from me,
I still remember that awful day perfectly.
I did not know yet, it�d be the day, that I would tell you goodbye.
Those words I never thought to you I�d speak so early in this short life.

In a river of blood, beside the gleam of the knife.
My world came crashing down, as your soul drifted from my life,
Paralyzed by feelings of despair and fear,
Tears flooded my eyes, pouring over me
The chaos of loss rang piercing my ears.

Sunken, my heart it does bleed,
Frail, tearing apart at the seams.
Stolen away, my world, my everything.
Pain tore through me, violently erupting.
Burst through my heart as it coursed through my veins,
From that moment on, I�d never again be the same.

In times when I have wept, overwhelmed.
Sometimes confused, lost not knowing what I can do.
I hang my head �and sigh,
If only I had you here by my side.
Millions of tears I have cried, and many times I did fall.
If only I could trade my time, I�d trade it all.
I�d take your place give you my breathes and change your mistaken fate

I love you papa dearest, till my dying day.
I love you more than I�ll ever love anything again.
