Morning Song

Morning Song

Verse 1) In the quiet of the morning when the sky begins to glow,
I find pleasure in your laughter, and melodies as they flow.
Your voice, a gentle whisper, like a soothing, summer breeze,
It echoes through my heart and puts my mind at ease.

(Chorus) Oh, your laughter is a symphony that dances in the air,
Your words, they are a serenade, for love beyond compare.
On the canvas of your beauty, I find my favorite view,
In the sanctuary of your love, this time forever true.

(Verse 2) As daylight paints the canvas, in hues of pink and gold,
Your presence is a sunrise who’s beauty only grows.
The words you speak leave poetry that lingers in the air,
The rhyming of affection for our love beyond compare.

(Chorus) Oh, your laughter is a symphony that dances in the air,
Your words, they are a serenade, for love beyond compare.
On the canvas of your beauty, I find my favorite view,
In the sanctuary of your love, this time forever true.

(Bridge) Though seasons change, and we must part,
the love we made was pure.
You’ll live on deep within my heart
as a love that once was sure.

(Chorus) Oh, your laughter was a symphony that danced across the air,
Your words, they were a serenade, for love beyond compare.
On the canvas of your beauty, I found my favorite views,
In the sanctuary of your love, a love that once was true.

(Verse 3) In the silence of the night, when the stars begin to gleam,
Your body still will come to me as if a cherished dream.
In the beauty of our dancing flesh, our hearts once found their song,
The love we make on the night we part is a love that can't be wrong.

(Chorus) Oh, your laughter was a symphony that danced across the air,
Your words, they were a serenade, for love beyond compare.
On the canvas of your beauty, I found my favorite views,
In the sanctuary of your love, a love that once was true.

Author's Note
Sometimes I write song lyrics but never share them until now. I wrote this while thinking of Joseph and imagining what might happen in our futures. I hope the words in the song's bridge never come true.
