This was quite a find. I thought I'd located all of mother's poems but came across the limerick a while back. After yesterday I had limericks on the brain and decided I should share mother's from her 40th birthday. Pic is edited from one taken of her around that birthday time.

My mother gave herself to lust and I think she was a very happy woman. Complicated, but happy.

Thank you for finding out about my mother. Her memory lives on as others read her words.
Your mother shows great candid humour, a laugh at herself. One cannot help but laugh with her. I can imagine her happily saying that in her picture with like minded company. Wonder if she ever used it as a come-on line with her subsequent lovers?
