Succubus

I thought that there was something between you and me
After that night, I was so excited to see
We talked for hours, sharing blow and beer
Seeming like only minutes, the connection was so clear
You said you could imagine
having your hand in mine
Our eyes met; a flash, a sign
an unseen spark, a silent tone
Before too long, we shared a moment alone
Lips pressed together; mine against your own
I was thrilled; everything was good
Thoughts and feelings we had shared and understood

Succubus

Youu invited me to come with you to your space
I listened to your flute; admired your pretty face
You welcomed my embrace, hugging close and tight
flirting and kissing, to my absolute delight
as I followed you, to lie next to you in bed
Conflicting thoughts were racing 'round my head

Succubus

I didn't expect sex; I guess there always was a chance
You pulled me on top and put your hand into my pants
You told me you were wet; wanted me to feel it too
I said that we should wait; I was worried about you
You told me we were safe; I believed that it was true
I gave up resisting what we both wanted to do

Succubus

I asked you not to disappear
you said you'd be my friend
I believed I shouldn't fear
I didn't think that was the end
You're the reason I am sick, but you don't seem to care
Any time I see you, you act like you're still there
Like we're friends and that we get along
Like you don't ignore me all the time
Like you've never done me wrong
like you didn't leave a scar
like you're less harmful than you are

succubus

You still lead me on
Still pretend that you aren't gone.

Succubus
