Looking in the mirror at myself, I am so caught up in you
     I don’t see my reflection; I see a mirage of your image
Touching you, kissing you, just simplify loving you, an out of body experience
     Face within palms of my hands tell a tale of a heart pushed to the limit
Beat after beat vibe throughout my soul, shaking my foundation
     Open hands filled with tears; cry me an ocean over you such a fixation
Loving you is like a dream come true but flip the coin is like a nightmare when we are apart
     Every face on the street I see you, open my mind pours out every single thought… YOU
I feel like I am coming out of my skin, as the aches are so intense what a man to do
     I hear your voice in my sleep like a ghost of constant reminder… she is the one
I sit down at the table to put my feelings of you on paper but still I cannot find the right words
     Balled up paper mountain of lost words of emotions trying to pave the way for what is deep within me
Dissect my heart part by part, shred away layer by layer then piece by piece spread across the sky for all to see
     Look up, look deeply, look hard, look soulfully and see a tattoo etched you within me
