The Life That Grows in Me
In shadows cast by choices we regret,
A love affair that we should not have known,
Yet in my womb, a new life is set,
A testament to seeds of lust we’ve sown.
Though the path I took was not of grace,
That night filled with fucking now tastes like a dream.
Yet in your existence, I find a new place,
In every heartbeat I hear your joyful scream.
Though the love that caused this life was not meant to be,
My love for the life that grows in me,
Now shines in my eyes, pure and free.
