Masque/d Watcher
Lensed reading lamp, ivied window sill
Seeing-being, outside, standing-still: Watching/studying
Page turning, a preoccupation with learning
A warmth with a touch of cool, the kind of home lived at alone
A back-door ignored by light, a haven to this dweller of the night
Lock mechanism picked in a shift of a metal tooth-pick with a click
Door slowly stirs only slightly moving the silence/stillness
Masque/d watcher becoming masque/d breaker-enterer: Dangerous/danger
Shape-shifting from shadow to shadow: A darkening thirst
A threshold of throat – A brash flash of aspects of consciousness/taken into depth
Left with the instantaneous presence of death/breathed in breath upon your neck
Instantly wet as you let my hand beyond the threshold: At my command
Tearing off the masque/slash/tearing into flesh: Gravity of depravity/depraved requests
Further & farther into the afars: Following the demands of dark stars
