Somewhere between the lines

I saw something deep in your eyes,
something that allows no lies.
I saw a hunger that could not be satisfied
a need that would not be denied,
yes somewhere between the lines
I see your soul overcome mine.
I gave in, submitting to your dominant lust
giving you every part of me in complete trust.
I saw the fire come alive and begin to smolder
I could see you becoming bolder
stripping away shy glances and meek ways
to awaken ancient lust that would amaze
and astound us both
take me my beloved betroth!
I feel your fingers begin to search, looking
for something promised but never given
oh how I regret denying your appetites,
please forgive me queen, let me make it right!
I seen it there, between the lines,
the thing that makes new love shine.
