Vampiric

My heart won't wait forever
And the stop
the stop the clock
is ticking

Ever closer.
The stars align at night they say
it's over.

A handful of rocks won't fix this mistake I made
and I'm making

No excuses after this
I'm open to what the cards hold.
My heart won't go forever
I'm losing the motor
and the car just
won't go.

Shaking back
Fake laughs
In a group of the classic
Pageantry

I made with my own stupid ass
Self esteem
borderline
vampiric qualities

And I ain't making it up

I need attention

A handful of hope
and some pixie dust

I need a drink
I need to sit and think
About what I've done

The gin is quality but my
stomachs grumbling
Bumbling and muttering
prayers when I'm looking away
Mid-conversation.

I'm running away and
you're thinking I'm
having a laugh
but my belly
is a cess pit of
swallowed air
and redirective

Self-sustaining
and selfish
lies of costly
repercussions

Watch the plates and cups
Just mountain up
as the mold spreads across
the kitchen.
