My Rationale For Using The Word Nigga At Times.

Words are descriptive and have no intrinsic meaning. Words can mean anything to anyone. The same word can be spelled in two different ways, or the same way and mean two different things. Words can sound similar and yet they are not. The distinction here is in the spelling, Nigger and Nigga and the power associated with each. Firstly, words have no power. The power lies in the structure that affects our lives and the intent of people in positions of influence within the power structures. I know what the word Nigger was used to describe and I'm not that nor do I like hearing, using or being referred to in that manner. Black youth flipped the word Nigger and changed its spelling and meaning to say "NO" to the power structures, we are not going to let you use the word Nigger with the continued intent to demean, degrade, demonize and shame us. We are not going to allow you to have that power of intent. So we took Nigger and remodeled it to fit our culture, our description, and removed the ugly, hurtful, negative stereotypes and connotations that is associated with the spelling and grammar of Nigger.

My Nigga, means an association (a kinship, a brotherhood, like when people say "My Man") of beautiful black people who were made in the minds of the world including ourselves as being ugly, docile, savages, lacking of culture and ingenuity to say we are perfect in our eyes, we have culture and, had culture before they knew what that was. We bought culture to them and taught them how to create their own. We were the first civilized people on planet earth who created the first civilizations. See our ingenuity all over the globe. Pyramids, tools for hunting, farming, utensils, fighting, fishing, sailing, education, sanitation, medicines, arts and theater, and much more. Now as part of our ingenuity we are taking this word knowing it will probably always be around and changing its meaning so when other people say (not around us of course) we will attach our meaning onto it. And the old meaning will be forgotten and perhaps removed from every dictionary and diction of speech.

Power has never been embedded in words. Only in the power structures intended usage. I love my niggas, we da best. Lol

PS: Women call each other bitches, men dare not, not even jokingly. For women, when speaking with each other the intent behind the usage is usually different (kinship). For men the intent behind the usage usually means something derogatory.
