Waterfalls and Catacombs
Waterfall dreams cascade upon me.
Pouring their pleasures, washing the soul.
Dancing droplets before my eyes.
For a fleeting moment, I am whole.
Rest here my love,
this heart with many rooms.
As we fall through spatial catacombs
and lie sleeping amongst the tombs.
That which is forbidden
finds freedom so it seems.
As light allows our shadows
to dance upon the dreams.
I would bend the universe
for a soft and subtle kiss.
or tear the tapestries of time
to bring back all we’ve missed.
The reality in retrospect
is a life drifting away.
If my love be mere fantasy
then here is where I’ll stay.
