Fur and metal

I plunge my fingers
into ripe kiwi skins

eating each seed
it bares naked
how you dared

to learn about
metal hidden
beneath fur,

pulling away
barbed wire
tucked away

for hands
that attempt
pressing their
prints onto
my skin.
