A Man You Ought to Love

The Buddha’s known
as “the compassionate”.

But why?

For this::

Not only did he see
with overwhelming empathy
Man’s dire need to be
released from fated suffering
but kindly taught “him” how
this could be done
successfully.

and thereby caused
his being  praised,
extolled, and justly so,  
by high and low
as one
who was (and is)
deserving to be loved.
