AWAKENED
Placing teachings aside
Denying a battle
As the warmth
Of sunsets
Embraces the sky
The same
As her skin
Presses against mine
Constantly desiring
Intense strokes
From hands
As she rides
A wave
On a wake
Which awake
A lustful man
Un f able
It began
Ineffable
She became
With a thrust
Kept in mind
Memorized
In a brush
Laid with roses
In search of thorns
Yearning
To satisfy an ache
Penetrating
With doppelgänger wishes
That kisses
All her lips
And a rib retaken
Just
To have her close
Invoking hallucinations
That we are
The same person
Making me crazy
Telling her
I love her
Woven into other words
Designing a tapestry of desire
That makes me feel
I loved her
In different lifetimes
And leaves
Loves residue
Even when she is gone
No need for anymore names
For I already
Call her mine
Shes’ where
Im meant to be
And could sleep
An eternity
With a smile
But refuse to die
For who
Will write poems to her
Our lives rhyme
To a catalyst end
Spray painted on the walls
Of a pretentious society
Relying on Quid pro quo
To buy
What we already possess
An ikigai
That speaks
I can’t love her!
For love has limits
And what I feel
Is without
As I
Am
Awakened
By her.
