Jill's Off The Grid <pipe> In the Old Day

In days of old, when cities rose high,
And noise and crowds filled up the sky,
There lived a maid named Jill, who sought
A life beyond the city's fraught.

For Jill had always felt suffocated,
By the hustle and bustle unabated,
Of people rushing to and fro,
With faces blank and hearts aglow.

The pollution and the constant noise,
Left her feeling drained, like an empty poise,
And in her heart, she longed to be,
Where nature's beauty could set her free.

She dreamed of fields of green and gold,
Where flowers bloomed and streams rolled,
Where she could breathe the sweetest air,
And feel the sun's warm, gentle stare.

In search of a life that's true,
Jill left the city and bid adieu,
To the noise, the chaos, and the grind,
In search of peace, she left behind.

She journeyed far to find her place,
And settled on a hilltop with grace,
Far from the city's constant din,
Where nature's beauty could begin.

She sought out a lumberjack, strong and true,
To help her build a home that grew,
From the earth and the trees around,
A place where she could truly be unbound.

Jill worked tirelessly, day by day,
With the lumberjack by her side, come what may,
Together they felled trees, one by one,
Crafting sturdy beams, each a job well done.

With every tree that they cut down,
They shaped it into planks, without a frown,
And Jill's quick mind soon learned it all,
From hammering nails, to sawing wood so tall.

She worked with focus, with all her might,
Building her home, far from the city's blight,
And as each day went by, the structure grew,
A testament to what hard work could do.

The lumberjack taught her many skills,
To build a home that would weather all chills,
With every passing day, her confidence grew,
As she learned to build, with hands so true.

Together, they worked in harmony,
Crafting walls and floors, with a sense of glee,
And when the build was finally done,
Jill's home was sturdy, with a warmth that won.

She stood in awe, at what they'd achieved,
A home so simple, yet so finely conceived,
A testament to what can be done,
With hard work, and hearts that have won.

And from that day on, Jill's life was new,
A life of peace, and a dream that came true,
A life of beauty, in the great outdoors,
A life that was simple, yet so much more.
