The Ballad of Daisy-doo

Butterfingers
with Daisy-doo thumbs
couldn't catch a thing
when she was young
A few things changed
when Daisy grew
some bad boys taught her
all she knew
They took her swimming
down by the creek
when she dried off
she couldn't walk for a week
She put on weight
like a great balloon
and the Doc said
triplets coming soon
She wouldn't name pa
as Josh or Jim
and Jack was away
so it wasn't him
She learned that love's
a slippery wish
and when you're up the creek
you better catch a fish
