Sad turtle
Slowly,
Carefully,
Walking.
It thinks with each step.
Profound thoughts,
Seeped in his soul.
His home,
Is where his heart is,
Protecting him at all times.
If I should ever rebirth,
I would be a turtle,
Sad, but at peace.
He carries nothing but what he needs,
In his shell,
Yet still he wanders.
Where are you going?
Where must you go,
Sad turtle?
Take you time,
Go with ease,
And think.
Carefully,
Walking.
It thinks with each step.
Profound thoughts,
Seeped in his soul.
His home,
Is where his heart is,
Protecting him at all times.
If I should ever rebirth,
I would be a turtle,
Sad, but at peace.
He carries nothing but what he needs,
In his shell,
Yet still he wanders.
Where are you going?
Where must you go,
Sad turtle?
Take you time,
Go with ease,
And think.
