Open Heart
Wearing my heart on my sleeve
My face gives away everything I'm thinking
It makes it easy to hurt me
But I don't dare change
Better to suffer some pain
Than become so inured to pain
That I can't feel anything real
I live to find someone
Who doesn't use the power that they have
But leave their own heart open to attack
An attack I won't make
Honest and open love is the goal
