Cemetery Of Impermanence

Older but forever young.
Chasing dreams till legs feel no pain.
Can’t correlate with the lazy.
I’d rather not suffer the comforting train.
Let a thought sit but don’t allow it to stay.
Good or bad the memories fade away.
Look at your past as if they are now tombstones.
What’s inscribed on their personal rock?
What have we done that holds everlasting meaning?
Was it all just for ourselves or for the betterment of the world?
Most of us have weak legs where do we stand?
