Atlantis, Albion, Camelot, and Rome,
Are only gravel bars to Mother Earth
And all its continental crust rebirth
Where deep time provides no permanent home.

Yet the rocks remember magnetospheres
By cooling crystal orientation
Fixing tell tale polarization
For the savvy geophysical peers
Able to deduce metamorphic clues
Of long frozen magmatic alchemy
Teased from an in situ history
Not often seen in the main stream news,
Predisposed to how somebody feels,
Or, the viral status of TikTok reels.
