Dance at Midnight
Have you ever danced at midnight?
With the demons in your mind?
Giving in to all the battles
A waltz in the moonlight
Do you let them just take over?
Take you to that special place
They’ll guide you through the darkness
You look up and there’s no face
The image dressed in black
You stare at a hooded silhouette
Approaches you in terror
All the thoughts you just forget
You reach out and you hold onto
A hand that reaches out
The fear it builds inside of you
The screams you can’t seep out
It welcomes you and holds you
It appears you have a debt
The demon didn’t come to dance
Your last dance was with death
With the demons in your mind?
Giving in to all the battles
A waltz in the moonlight
Do you let them just take over?
Take you to that special place
They’ll guide you through the darkness
You look up and there’s no face
The image dressed in black
You stare at a hooded silhouette
Approaches you in terror
All the thoughts you just forget
You reach out and you hold onto
A hand that reaches out
The fear it builds inside of you
The screams you can’t seep out
It welcomes you and holds you
It appears you have a debt
The demon didn’t come to dance
Your last dance was with death
