Nature's Synonyms

In the spinal cords of nature
deep ends of still, motionless
like quiet winds of anxiety  
blowing piccolo fantasia
as butterflies emphasize    
 
Silently waiting, paralyzed
of mind's-soothing baubles
listening to the acorns
as they become trees    
and synonyms grow leaves
