Great vent! Has me relate to my own circumstance with a so-called "best friend" that I only hear from when she wants or needs something. Other than that I do all the work trying to keep the friendship going which I don't do anymore. I have put the ball in her court and will not contact her anymore. If our friendship and myself mean anything to her than she can make a move towards making a connection. I have a history of being used easily by others, manipulated by them and I have learned to cut those people off finally and focus on the true people who really do care, screw the rest. Take care of YOU. And don't beat yourself up so much about others who can't see or admit to their own faults/mistakes. Own up to your shit as we all should but with doing that don't let others shit all over you either. That's my new way of living and thinking out here.
