Obsession

He was wearing a yellow jacket...
his name I don't know
never stopped to ask
I never asked his name
he wore the jacket like a hero
as if it was the ultimate protection
against names and surnames
that's why I never asked his name
never thought about asking
my eyes filled my head with yellow
and he never took off his jacket
he was a yellow dot on the surface
of the planet, an indiscernible point
if seen from anywhere in outer space
the perfect summary of all
those without a name
inside a yellow jacket
because I never thought to ask.
