You don’t just stop loving someone
because they don’t love you back.
The mind becomes more ensnared,
feeling more attached.

It’s what always happens.
I fell in love and he didn’t.
Some power like entity
said we could but we shouldn’t.
I’m heartbroken over a love
that didn’t even exist.
What a sad life of mine, that it
has come to this.
