Among the Nimrods
In my musings among the nimrods
of poetic emotions on a twilight's rind
the elementary winds of Autumn nod
singing in the tongue, shadows entwined
forever among nature's applauding tides
designing the tapestry of essence defined
touching the whispering peas in a pod
setting aside the swings of time

listening to silence if so inclined
in memories of the Five and Dime
