Fragile
Fragile are we
surrounded by the undrinkable sea
astounded by all possibility
grounded on a world so watery .
Canyons appear under water
mother nature we fear
and mass slaughter
a future unclear
each other we torture
but every second is always near
bringing a son or a daughter .
Fragile humans yet to be overthrown
diseases that get blown
illnesses unknown .
Fragile are we
as each day turns
agile toxicity
in a world of solar burns .[/font]

poem. Short and stark and devoid of any flowery excess. The occasional rhyme added a pleasent musicality to the piece, and there were a couple of very good phrases, such as 'canyons appear under water'. That was one hell of an image.

I enjoyed the way some of this seemed almost written backwards. Very refreshing poem that suited my early hours mood. Thanks for that.
