Everlasting Pain....Not

We say pain doesn't last forever
But it never feels that way
You are scarred and nothing matters at all
Sometimes you are so scared & no one is there
The people who care, you think nothing of them
All you know is that you are hurting and nothing seems to be working...
Oh pain please go away, is all you can say
At the end of the day if you want it to disappear:
Forget & Forgive and go on and persevere
What you thought was everlasting, didn't last that long
Because you opened your eyes and saw that life was going on
