I miss you like I love you
the best you're gonna get from me is hidden wishes
wrapped inside my wrist, pounding against skin
picture of innocence, belligerent ignorance
i miss you like I loved you
I regret you like I left you
quiet and collected
tearing out those secret wishes
I wish I believed those fake things
that rest like god's eyes across your back
stolen fingertips pressing against soft flesh
lips against rotten flesh
gone sour with the timing of forgetfulness
remember like I kissed you
spoken words through glances and skin pricks
innocence bandaged across your body like alien imprints
flesh burned through with the fire of your eyes
you touched my ignorance
with a dash of oblivious and a pinch of blind
faithful eyes with arms reaching infront of me
find your face with hands shaking with anticipation
tight skin contracts against happiness
muscles relaxing when I need to feel you
the same old ignorance is this years death wish
i missed the muscles flexing under you
wrapped inside my wrist, pounding against skin
regret lingers like a cold
wrapped inside my wrist, pounding against skin
picture of innocence, belligerent ignorance
i miss you like I loved you
I regret you like I left you
quiet and collected
tearing out those secret wishes
I wish I believed those fake things
that rest like god's eyes across your back
stolen fingertips pressing against soft flesh
lips against rotten flesh
gone sour with the timing of forgetfulness
remember like I kissed you
spoken words through glances and skin pricks
innocence bandaged across your body like alien imprints
flesh burned through with the fire of your eyes
you touched my ignorance
with a dash of oblivious and a pinch of blind
faithful eyes with arms reaching infront of me
find your face with hands shaking with anticipation
tight skin contracts against happiness
muscles relaxing when I need to feel you
the same old ignorance is this years death wish
i missed the muscles flexing under you
wrapped inside my wrist, pounding against skin
regret lingers like a cold
