Why does a dream have no beginning nor end?

My doctor told me to count sheep as a means to fall asleep.
My doctor also told me I am insane for counting the amount of steps from my home to his office.
I am convinced you cannot prepare for life.

Lol, I suppose there are gadgets these days for counting steps, like fitbit. However, your doctor does sound rather frank, almost rude I'd say, lol. 🤣
