Roar
Her tears are black ash from the roaring
flames of time.
In silence she lays in splendid surrender.
Sheathed in glorious shades of darkness.
She wished to disintegrate.
She was through.
She began to evaporate back into the
universe.
Pieces of her mingling amongst the twinkling of silenced stars.
Upon the wind you can still hear her fire's roar
As she is exquisitely destroyed.

This has a very dark theme, but it's eloquently descriptive. You capture the essence of death, as though it's alive, in an emotional expression. Again, very blackened and bleak, metaphorically. Much of the theme and transition is smooth, and builds upon itself, as well as its own unbecoming. You have a sort of aesthetic of alchemy and magic on display, in this as a body of work, collectively. The thought and imagination, through direction, just seemingly melds or disintegrates. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to more.

Sometimes I almost feel shy or embarrassed about posting some of my work. I'm an obsessive perfectionist with writing, so if even one word sounds off, I feel amateur. Something I need to get over. I've received so much really nice feedback. It pushes me to want to write an even better one.
