When The Waters Run Dry
When The Waters Run Dry
When the waters run dry
Mother Earth will then cry.
We will hear her screams
rip through the air.
Her blood will spill across land.
Will we then understand
these eruptions of hers
everywhere?
Perhaps we will see without seeing
as we pray to the sky.
We are to die from a fault
of our own.
It is too late for the rain.
Mother Earth we have slain.
In so doing she shall
not die alone.
